  Bob showed up at my friends place to look at an exterior flue installation. He looked professional with the nice new shiny GMC pickup, the clipboard and tape measure. He immediately started with the snarky comments about "oh, your friend doesn't like to spend money, eh?" (because it's a steel building exterior) and how he lives alone with his wife in a 5000 ft2 ranchero along with his horses and cattle blah blah. He kept at it when he saw the small hearth and how great his was and blah blah blah. I brought him inside and explained what had to be done (duraplus through the wall kit). And he kept saying how he was so busy and did not have time for this etc. The kicker? He didn't know a damn thing about flue pipe installation! And he was charging $190 bucks for the estimate! He came back later with the two installers but his estimate was almost 4K. A sky price. He didn't want to do it, all he talked about was making money and how he was so busy blah blah blah. Avoid this place. I understand you have to make money but shouldn't you first try to provide good service? Bob was arrogant and in your face greedy. A huge put off.
